NEW PROJECT // Griffith University N82 Building

Griffith University in Queensland are developing a new flagship building (N82) as part of the Nathan Redevelopment Program building capacity to accommodate the closure of Mt Gravatt campus in 2026.

The state-of-the-art building will accommodate staff and students within a new 22,000sqm nine storey building. The main design feature is a central outdoor atrium which extends through the entire building. We look forward to partnering Lendlease on this project.

We are excited to be working with Probuild Constructions to deliver CSL's new global corporate headquarters and laboratories in Parkville for client PDG.

Here's a recent Probuild LinkedIn article:

"Probuild are proud to be constructing CSL’s new global corporate headquarters and laboratories at Elizabeth North, located in the Parkville biomedical precinct.

Probuild have been engaged to deliver the integrated fit out for CSL’s 16 storey flagship building that will support collaborations between academia, the biomedical research community and industry, creating important linkages in the ‘benchtop to bedside’ translation of new medicines for unmet medical needs.

On completion, the development will accommodate more than 800 CSL employees including early-stage research and product development teams, commercial operations, corporate functions and support services. The building will include seven floors of office workspaces and nine floors of laboratories and research and clinical phase production suites. Probuild are proud to be a part of the delivery of this important investment in the Australian biotech ecosystem."

Project Update - Hotel Indigo & Residences in New Zealand.

Icon's LinkedIn article:

Last week in New Zealand we celebrated a momentous milestone - the ground-breaking of Hotel Indigo & Residences with our client 94 Feet Pty Ltd.

The retained heritage façades date back to 1912 and are a key feature of the development. The façade retention and refurbishment; coupled with small building footprint and restricted access present some special construction challenges which have been overcome through extensive planning in consultation with the authorities and neighbours.

Icon are proud to partner with Ninety Four Feet on its unique 41 level tower level that will be a great addition to the Auckland CBD. "

Works are progressing well at the Newman Health Service Redevelopment for ADCO Constructions. The CDPG team are thoroughly enjoying the warm climate and the beautiful landscape that the Pilbara Region offers.

ADCO's LinkedIn article:

"ADCO’s Newman Health Service redevelopment for WA Country Health Service is taking shape in the state's Pilbara Region.

Last year we were awarded the contract to build the $61.4 million hospital which is progressing well with 240 tonnes of structural steel now installed.

Once complete, the much-anticipated facility will include 12 in-patient beds, six emergency department bays, two dental chairs and GP consultation spaces, in addition to dedicated rooms for outpatient consults, therapy, medical imaging and pathology.

The hospital will offer the latest in country healthcare and telehealth. Other health services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy and mental health will also be supported when the facility is complete in 2023. The existing Newman Hospital remains operational during construction."

Ballarat Goods Shed

Ballarat Goods Shed 7

CDPG were proud to support this local Ballarat project - congratulations to all involved!

LinkedIn article:

"Exciting to see #BallaratGovHub on the eve of its launch this April. Built by Kane Constructions Pty Ltd and Nicholson Construction, it is the largest mass timber structure in regional Australia and provides spectacular panoramic views of one of Australia’s golden cities. It was certainly sparkling on Friday as Industry Capability Network - Victoria toured the 4 levels of this State Govt project with Richard Nicholson and Kyle of Nicholson Construction. The Kane Nicholson consortium represents 2 firms committed to regional Victoria over many years. It is the largest endeavour for local family-owned Nicholson Construction (est in 1889 and based in Ballarat) who are part of building yet another legacy for Ballarat #construction . Up to 230 workers have been on site daily, and it has over-achieved in terms of supporting #localapprentices and trainees. All that, and it looks wonderful, especially the local Krause Bricks (from Stawell) complementing the Zinc cladding. I am sure that the 800 people who are soon to make it their working home will be comfortable in this building and precinct."
