Project Description
The $300 million redevelopment will see the centre double in size, to approximately 90,000 square metres.
The existing centre is linked to the former Gardentown Shopping Centre via a two- level retail galleria, department stores, supermarkets and 160 specialty retailers, including high street and iconic Australian fashion brands.
Hydraulic scope of works:
- Sanitary plumbing and drainage, including pump station
- Trade waste drainage and treatment
- Stormwater drainage including pump station
- Roof and storm water drainage, including siphon drainage
- Water supply, including potable, non-potable and rainwater
- Fire hydrant & hose reels
Overcoming Challenges
- Remote location requiring a live-away workforce
- Significant tenancy-driven changes to scope
- Staged handover
