SUPER PRODUCT TO BE USED AT 443 QUEENS STREET

Cooke & Dowsett Queensland staff recently participated in a personalised Geberit presentation of their new product, SuperTube which will be used at our current project 443 Queen Street Brisbane – Australia’s first premium subtropical residential apartment tower.

The SuperTube technology is a space gaining system creating a continuous column of air in the discharge pipe, meaning a parallel ventilation pipe installation is no longer required. As a result, the Geberit SuperTube creates more usable space.

Cooke & Dowsett are also one of the first commercial hydraulic companies to apply this system in Victoria at the Quest Hotel Project in Ballarat.

Netball Centre A Game-Changer For Women In Construction

Cooke & Dowsett are excited to be involved in this fantastic initiative to maximise female participation in the construction industry. The State Netball & Hockey Centre upgrade will include six new indoor netball courts, new indoor hockey fields a creche and a high performance strength and conditioning gym.

Cooke & Dowsett apprentice and North Melbourne AFLW player Jasmine Garner will assist with delivering this project for Kane Constructions.

Fyreguard Passive Fire Protection and Compliance Excellence Award

The inaugural Fyreguard Passive Fire Protection and Compliance Excellence Award was presented to commercial plumbing company Cooke & Dowsett at the 2019 Plumbing and Gas Industry Awards, held on Friday 19 July at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Brisbane.

The 2019 Plumbing and Gas Industry Awards was held on Friday 19 July at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Brisbane. Our Queensland team was awarded the inaugural Fyreguard Passive Fire Protection and Compliance Excellence Award for their work on Coorparoo Square.

We are so proud of our Queensland team for taking out this award. It is great reward for the effort and excellence that was displayed on this project! Congratulations to all involved!

They demonstrated the use of new systems on the market with evidence of multiple products in numerous substrates. Their submission was well supported with passive fire certification documents, photos and compliance with all relevant standards and codes.

Innovative Green Technology – PICAC Narre Warren

Cooke & Dowsett are proud to be teaming with Hutchinson Builders in the innovative development of The Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre (PICAC) in Narre Warren.

The plumbing training facility will be the first Net Zero Energy education and research facility for Victoria.
